“Constants of Connection”

“Constants of Connection” explore the interconnectedness within complex systems, where structure becomes a metaphor for both physical and social spaces. These multi-layered grids symbolize the order that emerges from chaos through constant and immutable connections between elements. Each configuration reveals tension between stability and change: while the architectural forms remain constant, their potential rearrangements point to endless variations in interactions.

These structures embody the idea that all forms of relationships—whether between people or elements of any system—are built on constant principles that ensure integrity, even in times of transformation. The metallic grids demonstrate how every connection supports the stability of the whole system, and when one element changes or is removed, the structure adapts to find a new equilibrium.

The central emptiness within the structure plays a crucial role in the concept. It symbolizes a space for potential—an opening where new ideas, connections, and meanings can emerge. This void is not absence but possibility, allowing the system to evolve. It can be seen as a metaphor for human relationships, where personal space is essential for the authenticity of connections.

Each individual structure reflects a fractal principle: smaller parts replicate the form of the whole, and each connection within the grid mirrors the structure of the entire system. This serves as an allegory for human relationships and social structures, where every interaction resonates at a larger scale. The construction acts as a model for understanding how individuality can coexist with harmony within a system.

The project also delves into the dialectic between controlled and spontaneous connections. The metallic grids express a desire for control and structure, but their openness suggests the inevitability of change and adaptation. Those interacting with the structure are compelled to accept that not all connections can be controlled—chaos itself can become part of a new order.

“Constants of Connection” metaphorically express stability and change in a world where nothing remains the same. The project demonstrates that it is the connections between elements that create resilience in systems, even as individual elements undergo transformation. The grid symbolizes the architecture of relationships, where each connection becomes a constant, and the structure itself remains an open process, capable of adapting and evolving through change.

“ARCHmetamorphizm”

The works of the ARCHmetamorphizm project embody the refraction of the author’s perception of architectural elements through the lens of photography. Architectural structures are transformed into whimsical forms, as if small fragments of glass, turned by a kaleidoscope, create a new geometric reality. In this process of metamorphosis, the original meaning of the structures is lost; what were once apartment buildings, office complexes, or historical monuments are now abstract elements, absorbed into the aesthetic vision of the artist.

As these architectural components lose their individuality, they enter the author’s playful interaction with space, generating mosaics in which the seeming randomness of chaos becomes organized into geometric patterns. Objective reality ceases to be perceived as such, instead taking on the appearance of artistic renderings: outlines of human chromosomes, fragmented media player patterns, or visualizations of a virtual matrix—where countless numbers rush across the screen, giving rise to a new aesthetic dimension.

The objects captured by the artist are transformed from functional buildings into elements of a conceptual urban planning scheme. The photographs, now liberated from their architectural identity, become components of a construction set, capable of being rearranged into endless configurations for new landscapes. Each fragment becomes a piece of a broader design, a versatile module that can be recontextualized into future urban concepts.

Through ARCHmetamorphizm, the project explores architecture beyond its utilitarian and historical functions. It shifts these elements into an abstract space where meaning is fluid, allowing buildings to dissolve into patterns and forms. The result is a visual playground of ordered chaos—an intersection between architecture, art, and the virtual, where structure loses its rigidity and becomes a malleable part of the artist’s spatial experiment. This approach offers a new way of thinking about architectural space, one that embraces transformation, fluidity, and the perpetual construction of new aesthetic realities.
